Protection of Personal Data

 

This document describes how Scor s.r.o. collects, processes and protects personal data of the customers visiting the webpage of the www.studyrelo.com (“our web” or “StudyRelo web”) or/and during provision of services by StudyRelo.

 

Scor s.r.o. is committed to protection of personal data of its customers and suppliers in line with valid regulations for the protection of the personal data - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and respective country legislation for Slovakia.

 

The purpose and grounds of the processing

 

We process personal data only to the extent necessary and appropriate for the specific processing purposes. Please note that one or more of the following purposes and legal grounds may apply simultaneously. Duration of operating with data lasts only for period necessary and for which the consent was provided. We will only maintain data that was obtained for a legal purpose (e.g. legal framework may require archiving of certain data or some data may be necessary for purposes of invoicing).

 

Provision of Services

 

Primarily we are collecting and processing your data in order to deliver services: relocation and immigration services or consultancy support. You will be informed about what data may be collected and what authorities, institutions or parties data may be shared with during whole process of our cooperation.

 

Communication, Service purchasing, Invoicing and Payments

 

Data required or provided to us is critical for communication purposes, in order to provide you with quotation of our services or issue invoice. Let us kindly note that we must collect and maintain these data based on local legislation, thus they may remain in our records for extending period of time (e.g. orders and invoices must be stored for tax purposes even after finishing of our cooperation).

 

What authorities are we sharing your information/data with?

 

Your personal data can be shared with third parties that fall to one or more of these categories:

 

• Offices, state authorities and institutions: Foreign Police, Labour Office, Health Insurance, Social Insurance, Ministry of Interior of SR, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of SR, Ministry of labour social affairs and family of SR, Bureau of labour social affairs and family, Registry office, Criminal Records office, Tax office, Customs office, Court, Education facility.

• Embassies and visa centres: Embassies of the Slovak Republic, Embassies of foreign countries in Slovakia, visa centres.

• University or accepting company.

• Other: Notary office, translation agency, accommodation facility-hotel, real estate agency, health clinic, bank, mobility coordinators.

 

Kindly note, we will not share your data with all the above, merely with those third parties that are relevant in your particular case.

 

Unless sharing of such information is explicitly permitted by respective legislation we will not share such data without your consent.

 

How are we protecting your data?

 

Whether data is obtained electronically or physically – we make sure to keep it safe.

 

Data security is guarded by company technical and organizational measures. Main objective of such measures is to ensure protection and eliminate cases of losing the data, as well as avoiding situation of unlawful processing, access, transfer, copying or changes of your data. Data that you share with us, or vice versa we will share with you or third parties will be protected both when used electronically (password secured, encrypted, access limited) or physically (sealed document files, lockable containers, access only to authorized personnel).

 

Let us kindly confirm that access to the data is only provided to the authorized personnel (i.e. employees and suppliers) whose access is essential to secure service delivery. Such authorized personnel have been trained in the subject of data protection and/or is bound by contract (contract includes data protection and confidentiality).

 We use "Cookies" to identify the areas of our website that you have visited. A Cookie is a      small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser. We use Cookies to enhance the performance and functionality of our service but are non- essential to their use. However, without these cookies, certain functionality like videos may become unavailable or you would be required to enter your login details every time you visit our platform as we would not be able to remember that you had logged in previously. Most web browsers can be set to disable the use of Cookies. However, if you disable Cookies, you may not be able to access functionality on our website correctly or at all. We never place Personally Identifiable Information in Cookies.

To ensure the correct and transparent processing of personal data, the data subject has the following rights:

• the right of access to personal data,

• the right to rectify inaccurate or incorrect data and supplement incomplete data,

• the right to erase data if the purpose for which the processing was approved is terminated, or if the personal data is processed unlawfully,

• the right to restrict the processing of personal data,

• the right to object against any personal data processing including profiling,

• the right of data portability, so that the data subject may obtain their personal data in a structured and machine-readable format for their own use or for another personal data operator,

• the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of The Slovak Republic.

These rules on protection of personal data have been issued by Scor s.r.o. on 13.03.2023. We reserve right to amend or change these rules.
